BRIAN DEAN is a Holy Angels’ distinguished ABCD Award Winner for the month of November 2009. Brian is currently employed as Health Care Assistant on 3rd shift at Belhaven and has been employed at Holy Angels since February 2009. Brian was nominated for several reasons.
PLAY: Brian always keeps his co-workers laughing. But more importantly, he makes sure the residents are well cared for, happy and smiling. He goes the extra mile. Also some of the Safety Tips that are announced at shift report daily have been supplied by Brian.
CHOOSING YOUR ATTITUDE: Brian always comes in with a positive attitude and doesn’t let others influence him. He doesn’t have to be reminded what his job is. He is polite, and when asked to do anything, he does it.
BE PRESENT: Brian never misses a day of work. He even volunteers to come in on his days off. He never complains and takes any extra load and does just as well.
MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY: Brian spends extra time with the residents making sure they look their best, that they are comfortable, that they are smiling and laughing. He is always polite to his co-workers and does anything that is asked of him.
Brian first came to Holy Angels because “My friend Tammy Oliver told me that my personality and drive would fit in perfectly at Holy Angels.” Brian likes working at Holy Angels because “I get to be a dynamic part of and make a difference in the lives of real people with real needs.”
Brian is married to wife, Morgan. Brian enjoys rock climbing, camping, golf, snowboarding and NinJitsv in his free time. Brian loves the energy drinks; his favorite color is “anything that can hide in the shadows-that or turquoise and his favorite day of the week is every other Thursday. A future goal for Brian is to continue to grow here at Holy Angels as well as continue to grow and strengthen the youth ministry at my church. Wherever the Lord takes me, I know my involvement here at Holy Angels will always be a commanding part and a commanding memory in my life.” |
