A Place of Loving, Living and Learning For the Differently Able

Holy Angels provides a wide range of benefits for our staff: medical, dental and vision insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), optional voluntary benefits, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and an optional 403(b) retirement investment plan. Monthly and holiday meal days are offered to provide an opportunity for staff to have a meal together. We have a wonderful wellness program that includes a free membership to the Gaston County YMCA.

Holy Angels is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to offering its employees a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace. All applicants are required to submit to a drug screening test as a condition of employment. Offers of employment are subject to vary based on applicants’ qualifications as determined through Holy Angels internal physical screening process.

When you drive onto the campus you will notice the OSHA SHARP flag waving proudly beneath the American Flag - that flag designates Holy Angels as a safe and healthy business for the employees. There are fewer than 200 in the state of North Carolina - this is an honor for every employee at Holy Angels.

If you were to visit Holy Angels, you would see love in action at every level of the organization, all to benefit the children and adults we serve. On a daily basis, each staff member provides loving care for the residents, helping each one reach their highest potential.

Making a difference is what happens every day at Holy Angels. . . helping a resident brush his teeth, assisting Nora to use her iPad to say a simple "hello", working with Bruce as he learns to take short steps using his new walker or helping Amy water the plants in the greenhouse. It is these every day events that happen in the twinkling of an eye that cause great joy throughout the halls of Holy Angels - we call these Mercy Moments!

There is never a dull moment at Holy Angels program staff members plan fun filled events throughout the year for residents and their families as well as the staff.
