What do we do at Holy Angels?

Our programs and services are designed to meet the needs of children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential and highest quality of life.

No. While we are proud of our Catholic heritage and affiliations, we do not consider religious preference in any decision-making process.

Are visitors permitted at Holy Angels?

Yes! We offer regular tours for individuals and groups where you can see firsthand the miracles that happen every day at Holy Angels. Please call us at 704.825.4161 to schedule.

Do the residents’ families still visit?

Family visits are not only permitted – they’re encouraged. Most of our residents have families that visit often. In cases where distance makes travel cumbersome or residents do not have family to visit, Holy Angels provides volunteers to act as special friends.

How do families pay for the cost of care?

As a ministry, families are asked to pay what they can for the cost of care for a loved one based on their individual financial situation. In some cases, individuals may qualify for state and federal government assistance. The gap between the cost of care and government assistance must then be funded each year through donations and the Holy Angels Foundation.

What is the Holy Angels Foundation?

As a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy South Central Community, Holy Angels is dependent on financial support, donations and volunteers to operate and provide the highest quality care to individuals regardless of their diagnosis, problems or financial status. The Holy Angels Foundation is the fundraising arm of our organization and must raise approximately 20% of the total annual operating budget. The balance comes from government sources, Medicaid and other areas, like Cherubs Café & Candy Bouquet.

What do the residents need?

In addition to your prayers, we need your financial support and the gift of your time and talents. We can also provide you with a Wish List of specific resident needs.

Do you have a waiting list to get in to Holy Angels?

Yes. However, we do not keep a large number of potential residents on our waiting list because openings are infrequent.

Does Holy Angels Provide Day Services?
