Watch behind the scenes of WYATT’s art
Our annual spring appeal celebrates art made by our residents. With hand‑over‑hand support, Spotlight Angel Wyatt shared his joy through color, playful splashes, and fingerprinted hearts pointing toward his new home.
Dear Friends,
At Holy Angels, we see it every day. Love shows up in quiet moments of courage, in families searching for answers, and in the people who step forward to care for those who need it most.
That’s what happened when Kara Grimes met a little boy at Holy Angels named Wyatt while teaching residents with visual impairments.
“I just fell in love with him,” she remembers. “His sweet smile just brightens the world.” That evening she told her husband Derek, “We’re going to adopt this child.”
When Wyatt needed compassionate, lifelong care – love led the way to Holy Angels.
Then, love led Kara to Wyatt, and to welcoming this sweet boy as her adopted son.
Today, Wyatt is surrounded by people who celebrate him for who he is. His days are filled with learning, discovery, and moments of joy that help him grow in ways some assumed were not possible.
Moments like these don’t happen by accident. They happen because faithful friends like you stand beside children like Wyatt and the families who love them.
Please consider making a gift today to help ensure that love continues to lead the way for Wyatt and so many others like him.
With gratitude,
Kerri C. Massey
