Nature’s Palette showcases Gaston County Art Guild En Plein Air painters from April 9 through May 9. The term En Plein Air comes from the French phrase meaning “in the open air.” This approach became especially popular with the Impressionists, who sought to capture natural light, atmosphere, and fleeting moments directly from nature.
