Preston Wilson, of Bower Traust, believes in making a difference in the world and giving back. He has an incredible imagination when designing and creating a business space.

He understands the goals and mission of Holy Angels and strives to help our businesses and facility achieve greatness. Preston is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve a higher success for his clients

As we have developed new business enterprises (Cotton Candy Factory, Bliss Gallery & Spruced Goose Station), Preston brought his unique ability to look at each Holy Angels business and identify what key factors were needed to help them grow and be successful. He did an amazing job in creating a new look for Cherubs Café.

He understands and takes to heart our vision and mission – we are a place of loving, living, and learning for the differently able. Through his caring heart, he has made a huge difference at Holy Angels.

Dr. Arey, Executive Director of Sanctuary Counseling Center, has provided counseling services for one of Holy Angels residents for the past 11 years – Pro Bono. His counseling included lots of support and guidance for this resident.

Although they often come at different times, the entire family is committed to sharing their love with one of our residents. Matthew and his sister, Kaitlyn have served as Summer Volunteens. Their parents, Kathy and David, come often just so they can make our resident smile. The Sedor Family has set a high standard for the impact volunteers can make.

Staff from Walgreens from around the Charlotte Region have shared their time, talents and resources on behalf of Holy Angels residents. You will often find them around campus or at Camp Hope helping with outdoor projects. During special seasons, they share gift cards in order to purchase things to fill some of the residents’ needs.

It began with phone call four years ago to our Foundation – Jeanie looking for a volunteer opportunity. Jeanie was asked to help with the Grazie Mille Gala, the Foundation needed assisting in securing auction items. She responded with an enthusiastic YES!

She used her networking skills and traveled throughout Charlotte, securing unique items and services. Not only did she secure items, but she shared our mission with businesses and friends alike.

This couple started out with their dog, Champ, for Pet Therapy, visiting residents in classroom and homes. Through Pet Therapy, they got to know many of the residents and staff. It wasn’t long before they fell in love with two of our residents, Drew and Andreww.

Residents share great smiles with her when she arrives . . . they know they will soon be looking good after she cuts and styles their hair.  She makes each one feel very special.

The residents in the Fox Run homes always look good thanks to Barbie. She is known to go the extra mile, staying longer to make sure each resident’s hair style is just right.
