33rd Annual Angel Bowl: The Blockbuster Bowl

On March 8, Holy Angels rolled out the red carpet for this year’s Blockbuster Bowl, bringing together residents, staff, families, sponsors and volunteers for a day full of joy, celebration and community.

For the second consecutive year, every resident had the opportunity to bowl—a powerful reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating access and meaningful experiences for those we serve.

A special thank you goes to longstanding champions of Angel Bowl, Father Dennis Kuhn and Cheryl, a resident who is a valued crew member in our sponsored business, who write heartfelt letters to friends and family to drum up support for Angel Bowl. Following more than 25 years of service as a Holy Angels team member, Fr. Kuhn’s unwavering support has helped carry this beloved tradition forward. Together with Cheryl, their personal passion is a powerful reflection of the spirit behind Angel Bowl.

From handcrafted lanes and adaptive tools to generous sponsors and lifelong supporters, the 2025 Blockbuster Bowl was a true celebration of community, compassion and connection.

The event is made even more meaningful thanks to generous support from our sponsors. Neil Medical Group joined us in person, connecting with residents while helping raise additional funds. Enbridge hosted a staff breakfast and lunch fundraiser, where employees donated in exchange for a meal.

We also recognize the LAMB Foundation Knights of Columbus St. Matthew’s Council, who made a generous financial contribution and came out on event day to cheer on the home teams.
