Holy Angels Voted Best Nonprofit in Gaston County

We are honored to announce that Holy Angels has been named the 2025 Best Nonprofit in Gaston County by the Gaston Gazette’s Community’s Choice Awards!

This award, determined by community nominations and votes, is a meaningful reminder of how deeply our mission of mercy resonates with the people of Gaston County. For nearly 70 years, Holy Angels has provided exceptional care and a high quality of life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are also medically fragile.

“It means so much to have the support of our neighbors here in Gaston County who visit our businesses, support our events and embrace our residents,” said Kerri Massey, President & CEO of Holy Angels. “I’m incredibly proud of our team and the high-quality living we’re able to provide our 82 residents and community participants. This award belongs to every staff member, volunteer and supporter who helps make that possible.”

We are grateful to be recognized among many other outstanding organizations, and remain steadfast in our commitment to providing compassionate care to our residents, meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and an environment of acceptance and understanding within our greater community. Thank you, Gaston County, for your support.
