Good Morning America will feature the mission of Holy Angels and highlight its five sponsored businesses that celebrate abilities and enable individuals who are differently able to gain life skills, achieve meaningful work, and build relationships and a sense of belonging within the community. The story is part of a series called “My Kind of Town” highlighting communities across the country and the people who make them special. The live segment will air between 8 and 9 a.m. on ABC and will be available online following the broadcast. Local viewers can tune into WSOC to see the segment, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes content from Channel 9.

“We are so grateful for this opportunity to celebrate the incredible abilities of our residents and crew members on a national stage,” said Kerri Massey, president & CEO of Holy Angels. “It means so much to me to see how fully our community has embraced them—welcoming their gifts, their talents and their presence as a vital part of Belmont. We are honored to share their joy, their value, and their spirit with the world, and celebrate this one-of-a-kind community.”

This national spotlight offers a unique opportunity to share the vibrancy of downtown Belmont and the welcoming spirit of the community. “We are thrilled to see Belmont and the extraordinary mission of Holy Angels featured on Good Morning America. Holy Angels brings so much heart, joy, and inspiration to our community, and we are grateful for the many ways in which this organization enriches downtown Belmont,” said City of Belmont Mayor Pro Tem, Jim Hefferan.

Community members are encouraged to visit Cherubs Café, Cotton Candy Factory, Bliss Gallery and Market on Main in downtown Belmont, as well as Spruced Goose Station in McAdenville, to meet Holy Angels’ exceptional crew members and celebrate their talents. Cherubs Café, the location of the live national broadcast, will also offer “As Seen On” GMA menu specials all week long.
