Bliss Gallery’s Final Exhibit: Honoring Eight Years of Art and Community
/
After many meaningful years in Belmont, Holy Angels has made the difficult decision to close Bliss Gallery on May 30. Our final exhibit will run through May 30, showcasing the artwork of Susanne Hawthorne. Her show, A Celebration of Joy, is a fitting tribute for this transition.
Bliss Gallery has been a place where our residents’ artistic gifts have touched hearts and brought our community together. We are so grateful for the encouragement, kindness, and creativity that have filled this space over the past eight years.
While Bliss Gallery has helped share our residents’ art with the community, this change gives us the opportunity to carefully consider how we can align our mission and community outreach efforts, including our sponsored businesses, to best support all of our residents and participants.
We are dreaming up new ways to showcase the incredible talents of our residents. While we are just beginning to imagine what comes next, we know the creativity and heart that made Bliss Gallery so special will continue to shine through.
Creative arts therapy remains an important part of life for all of our residents at Holy Angels, offering opportunities for expression, connection and joy. Soon, you’ll see residents' artwork brightening the walls at Spruced Goose Station, our Holy Angels restaurant and cafe in McAdenville. Their handmade treasures—gemstone bracelets, silk scarves, greeting cards, and hand-poured candles—will still be waiting for you at Market on Main and Spruced Goose Station. Every piece is a reminder of the joy and possibility you help create with your support.
We are grateful to this community for embracing our residents, celebrating their creativity and recognizing the value of their lives and contributions.
