Behind Every Boat Ride, a Big-Hearted Volunteer

Each summer at Holy Angels brings one of our residents’ favorite experiences—boat rides at Camp Hope. Nestled along the shores of Lake Wylie, our camp gives all 82 residents the opportunity to enjoy the sights, sounds and freedom of the water. These rides provide far more than just fun for our residents. The fresh air, spray of the water and movement of the boat create a powerful sensory experience that fosters joy, connection and excitement. None of it would be possible, however, without our volunteer boat captains.
